The court has jurisdiction over the following types of matters:
• Probate of Wills and estate administration
• Appointment of conservator of person and estate, both voluntary and involuntary
• Appointment of guardian for adults with developmental disabilities
• Involuntary commitment of individuals with psychiatric disabilities
• Change of name applications
• Guardianship of estates of minors
• Temporary Guardianship of the person of minors (for a period of up to one year)
• Removal of unfit parent as guardian of minor child
• Termination of parental rights
• Adoption – stepparent, agency or adult
• Testamentary trusts
• Determining title to real estate and personal property
