The Norwich Municipal Child Care Center is located on the grounds of Mahan School, off Route 82 / Salem Turnpike in Norwich.

The Center is operated by Live and Learn, LLC, and is licensed to accommodate 28 preschoolers and 8 infants / toddlers. The Center was built in 2000 through State Bond funding, under the administration of Norwich Social Services.

Priority for placement is offered to City and State employees (including grandchildren of City / State employees), then to families at 75% of the median income level, through registration is open to all Norwich families.

The Center offers:

• An age 0 - 3 years program for 8 children
• A preschool program for 28 children
• Meals and snacks prepared on site
• A safe and healthy learning environment
• A secured building & 24 hour surveillance system
