Resolution of June 6, 1988: 11 members, 2 year terms; 4 appointments by Council (1 shall be under the age of 21), 3 appointments by City Manager with Council approval, 1 appointment by Chief of Police, 1 appointment by NFA, 1 appointment by Connecticut Juvenile Court, 1 appointment by Board of Education. By Resolution of January 4, 1999, the prior resolution regarding the comparison of the Norwich Youth & Family Services' Advisory Board passed June 7, 1988 has been rescinded and the following adopted in its' place: 11 members: 3 members appointed for 1 year terms, one of whom shall be under the age of 21; 2 members appointed for 3 years to be recommended by City Manager subject to approval of City Council; one member each for a total of 6 members from the following agencies: NFA, Norwich Police Department, CT Juvenile Court, Board of Education, DCF, and Norwich Technical School. Terms of these members subject to approval of appointing body and Membership Committee of the Advisory Board. |
