Southeastern Connecticut Enterprise Region (seCTer)
SeCTer offers a variety of business services supporting startup and existing businesses in their expansion or diversification efforts. Services at SeCTer include a loan program and recruitment efforts.

Connecticut Small Business Development Center
The CSBDC provides confidential, one-on-one business counseling services to existing businesses and individuals interested in starting a business. The focus is to assist business owners to develop skills necessary to achieve growth and profitability. Assistance may include financial analysis, accountability, marketing, management, technical assistance, international trade, business plan preparation, etc. CSBDC offers business workshops on an on-going basis.

Downtown Neighborhood Revitalization Zone
The Downtown Neighborhood Revitalization Zone supports the activities of downtown businesses, the Chelsea Arts District and provides a link with the City of Norwich.

The Entrepreneurial Center
For over ten years, the Entrepreneurial Center has been helping business people start and grow their own businesses. Displaced workers; low income, disabled and unemployed individuals; and those receiving public assistance are eligible for free business training programs in marketing, financial management, bookkeeping, taxes, business start-up and other subjects.
