BULKY WASTE PICK UP SUSPENDED
Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, there will be a suspension of all Bulky Waste pick-ups throughout Norwich. Please do not place these items curbside until after this suspension has been lifted. The automated citywide trash and recycling pick-up will continue as scheduled. Please do not place any additional trash or recyclables near the containers as the drivers will not be getting out of the trucks to perform any hand collections.
We ask for our customer’s patience in these difficult times. Please call Norwich Public Works @ 860-823-3798 with any questions. When the collection is resumed, you are asked to call Willimantic Waste Paper 860-423-4527 to schedule a Bulky Waste pick-up.
Where Can I Recycle or Dispose of...?

Composting your food scraps at home:
- Reduces the volume of trash, thereby reducing Norwich’s hauling fees
- Produces organic matter that returns nutrients to your soil
- Helps eliminate odors in the stored trash
