As Mayor, I work with Kristin Stringfellow, the Superintendent of Schools to utilize these programs for our children here in Norwich. These programs provide opportunities for children to participate in quality programs that promote health and safety. It also prepares our children for formal schooling by preventing or minimizing the potential for developmental delays in children prior to their reaching the age of five. School Readiness strengthens families by encouraging parents to be involved in their children’s development and education. These terrific programs are one of the educational tools we can provide for our children. Below is some information that may help you understand the programs.
